Thank you so much for picking up this issue of Forbes & Fifth. It has been an absolute pleasure collaborating with such talented writers, researchers, artists, and editors over these past few months to bring this volume to life.

Within these pages, you will find a collection of diverse works that embody the very essence of Forbes & Fifth: a celebration of undergraduate research and creative pursuits. As the designer, I thought a lot about the rightful placement for each piece, carefully considering font choices and creating graphics to present my peers’ work in the best possible light. The visual art featured in this volume encompasses a myriad of forms, from mesmerizing photographs and creative collages to bold intaglio prints, colorful digital sketches, expressive oil pastels, and even miniature set design models.
